This charming property is situated in a pretty village, 10.5 km from the historic centre of Uzès. This bustling market town is quintessentially French and dates back to Roman times.  Just a short drive from the town is the astonishing Pont du Gard, built in Roman times and listed as a UNESCO World heritage site.  The town itself has cobbled streets, fine Renaissance mansions and a magnificent central square, the Place-aux-Herbes.  The square is surrounded by limestone arches under which shops and restaurants spill out, all shaded by the established sycamore trees.  There are two markets every week, one for fresh produce on a Wednesday and another more extensive market on a Saturday. The square is often used for antique stalls, exhibitions, art shows and the annual truffle fair! 

The pretty villages of Goudargues and La Roque sur Ceze are within easy reach, as is the bustling city of Avignon. Nîmes with its airport and TGV station is 22km away.
